Duane DiPonio Family Resource Center

Opening October 2026 – The Arc NW at 7170 N. Haggerty Rd., Canton, MI

The Duane DiPonio Family Resource Center is a free drop-in, self-serve community space where you can find information on services, programs, and other sources of assistance for managing intellectual and development disabilities.  If you are a parent, caregiver, educator, medical professional, or anyone who is working or living with an individual with disabilities, we can help.

You will find brochures and information on many topics including:

  • Membership at The Arc NW / The Arc Michigan / The Arc USA
  • After I’m Gone (AIG)
  • Guardianship Alternatives Information Network (GAIN)
  • Lekotek Guided Play Program for ages 0-12
  • Toy Lending Library
  • Tech Hub program for ages 3-17
  • Educational Advocacy
  • Financial Management Services
  • Just Fun Club
  • The Arc NW Athletics
  • Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network
  • Other programs and organizations in the area for individuals with disabilities

Although staff will not be available to meet with you on a drop-in basis, you will be able to:

  • Sign up for our next Lunch and Learn Program (monthly from September- June)
  • Sign up to be contacted by one of our Advocates or our Lekotek Coordinator
  • Sign up to be a member

The Arc NW also offers a restroom with an adult changing station.

The Duane DiPonio Resource Center is open during regular business hours (see below).
