Duane DiPonio Family Resource Center
Opening October 2026 – The Arc NW at 7170 N. Haggerty Rd., Canton, MI
The Duane DiPonio Family Resource Center is a free drop-in, self-serve community space where you can find information on services, programs, and other sources of assistance for managing intellectual and development disabilities. If you are a parent, caregiver, educator, medical professional, or anyone who is working or living with an individual with disabilities, we can help.
You will find brochures and information on many topics including:
- Membership at The Arc NW / The Arc Michigan / The Arc USA
- After I’m Gone (AIG)
- Guardianship Alternatives Information Network (GAIN)
- Lekotek Guided Play Program for ages 0-12
- Toy Lending Library
- Tech Hub program for ages 3-17
- Educational Advocacy
- Financial Management Services
- Just Fun Club
- The Arc NW Athletics
- Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network
- Other programs and organizations in the area for individuals with disabilities
Although staff will not be available to meet with you on a drop-in basis, you will be able to:
- Sign up for our next Lunch and Learn Program (monthly from September- June)
- Sign up to be contacted by one of our Advocates or our Lekotek Coordinator
- Sign up to be a member
The Arc NW also offers a restroom with an adult changing station.
